so this week, both our moms and dads return to asia...
mom and dad chang for the rest of the year, and mom and dad kim for a few months; they might get to meet up in korea actually... sometimes they see each other sooner/more than we see them!

i think the second half of winter isn't as bad, because the days start to get longer again. november and december just get so dark.

it's funny how the groundhog tries to predict if we'll have more winter even though the first day of spring will always be about 6 weeks away!

Boo's schedule is now 12 pm - 9 pm M-Th, today I think he finishes around 6 pm. so we'll be together during sleeping hours only... i think it's worse than him being on call for 30 hrs, cause at least the other days he's home in the evenings. overall it is easier than last year when we were first married, but i'm still missing him!

less to post about? it's been awhile... work is work. might go back to working at Silver Spring 5 days a week. better to be at one location, but traffic is worse to SS than to Takoma Park. some days just feel so tired and don't want to do anything. just found jinmee grocery store in beltsville. got some tofu. is a really small korean market, almost wonder how they're surviving - at least lotte and han ah reum are like 30 min away... ok - so there's a little post.

i'm way overdue in posting pictures of A... but as my family was leaving, my body's defenses finally shut down and i've been sick, sick, sick-o. too bad, B's sick now too... so here we are, nasal and coughing together.
so i watched this movie today... it was a little weird.

so Moo and Boo's universe has shifted dramatically over the past week...
enjoyed showing Brian and Jennifer and Adia around our beautiful Laurel neighborhood; trying roti and homemade Cinncinnati chili - as is our usual routine of trying new and different foods. Unfortunately, A turned out a little sick, with a fever here and there, a little vomiting and then some runny nose. Two nights ago, she really couldn't sleep but thank goodness she slept much better last night.
So this morning my dad (Grandpa) and I took A to the mall to go to Build-a-Bear while Mom took B/J to the airport. We made a bunny rockstar and then rode the carousel on the way out. She did look a bit pensive on the drive, asking for Mommy once. At home we played and ate and she did bump her head on the living room table, where she called out for Daddy.
but all in all, the day's gone by ok... She napped for almost 3 hrs. hopefully we can entertain her to let the days pass by quickly enough :P

I don't think Moo and Boo imagined that Laurel would become the hubbub of family activity... but here we are with M's brother and sister-in-law and niece - waiting for M's mom and dad to come in tomorrow. and B's brother is stopping by later in the week, as is M's uncle travelling from Korea to visit his son in Philly. If you can understand all that, you should be in our family too

well, I (Moo) haven't posted about work in a while... but my medical director resigned and is moving to eastern Washington State. (we took him and his wife out to eat at La Tasca in Rockville... wow! first time to see the new 'town center' there... saw the Fractured Prune... let's go try it!) medical assistants are coming and going too quickly, so as we go through the holidays and look towards an electronic medical record in the spring, people's heads are spinning... ack!
Boo is working on another presentation he has to give tomorrow... thought he had one today, so he worked on one last night, but it'll actually be two for tomorrow!
